In the app, create a group with its name, the exchange date and the budget, and share the link on WhatsApp or however you like. Once everyone is in, mark any couples who should not draw each other and draw names. Each person then finds out who they are giving a gift to. You need at least 3 people, and up to 100 can take part.

No. When they open the link, they can join from their phone's browser: they type their name and email address, and they are done. After the draw, they go back to the same link, in the same browser, to see who they are giving a gift to. If they prefer, they can also use the app.

Before the draw, the organizer can mark pairs of people who cannot draw each other: a couple, two siblings or two people who were paired up last year. The draw always respects them, and nobody draws themselves. If there are so many restrictions that the draw cannot work out, the app lets you know so you can remove some.

Only you. The draw takes place on our server and each person sees only who they are giving a gift to; not even the organizer can see the result.

Yes. The organizer can reopen the group, which undoes the draw so more people can join, and then draw names again. With the new draw, everyone gets a new match, so it is a good idea to let the group know.

Since Elfello does not use accounts with passwords, your groups are tied to your installation of the app or to the browser where you joined. If you lose them, we cannot recover them, because there is no way to sign back in to your account from somewhere else. If names have not been drawn yet, ask the organizer to remove you from the list and join again from the link. If they have, the organizer can reopen the group, remove you, let you join again and redo the draw.

From the app itself: Settings → “Delete my data”; we will ask you to confirm. The groups you organize, your participation in other groups (with your name and email address) and your news subscription, if you had one, are deleted immediately. If you joined from your browser and do not have the app, write to us at hello@opharana.com from the email address you used to join. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

Plus removes all ads from the app and lets you organize as many groups as you want at the same time (without Plus, up to 2; joining other people's groups is always unlimited). You can get it with a monthly subscription, which renews automatically until you cancel it, or with a one-time lifetime purchase. The price in your currency is shown in the app before you buy.

The subscription is managed by the store, not by the app:

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Elfello → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Elfello → Cancel subscription.

Do it at least 24 hours before the current month ends. You keep Plus until the end of the period you have paid for. Keep in mind that uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. More details in the Terms.

By inviting people. If someone new to Elfello joins one of your groups and later organizes their own group with at least 3 people and draws names, you both get a month of Plus, up to a maximum of 12 months. It is checked automatically; you do not have to do anything.

First, make sure you are using the same store account you bought it with (the same Apple ID or the same Google account). Then, in the app, tap “Restore purchases”. If it still does not show up, write to us at hello@opharana.com and attach the receipt from Apple or Google. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us: they must be requested from the store where the purchase was made.

Because the app is funded by Google AdMob advertising and, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the law requires us to ask for your consent before loading any personalized ad. On iOS, Apple's tracking prompt also appears. You can decline: you will see non-personalized ads and the app works exactly the same.
